This year's event was a thrilling and challenging ride for bicyclists of all levels. The route took riders through some of the most scenic country roads that Solvang is known for, providing an opportunity to experience the rolling hills of California wine country.
Although the weather on the day of the event was cold and cloudy, the supportive atmosphere kept participants motivated and encouraged throughout the ride. The Solvang Century is known for having plenty of hills and climbs late in the day that tested everyone's endurance. But the amazing views and descent back down (especially on Harris Grade) made all the effort worthwhile.
